Frequently Asked Questions

⚖️ Data Governance & Compliance

What makes an INBX ledger entry legally unalterable?

Once a message or document payload transitions to a "Sealed" state, it is cryptographically signed using asymmetric Ed25519 keypairs. The manifest and its binary assets are instantly piped into a Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM) storage environment. Because the data layer enforces immutable hardware rules, entries cannot be edited, deleted, or backdated by anyone—including network administrators or INBX developers.

Is INBX compliant with standard corporate archiving and data preservation laws?

Yes. When deployed using our Compliance Mode architecture (which enforces strict retention locks), your configuration satisfies major enterprise, financial, and legal storage mandates. This includes SEC Rule 17a-4, FINRA Rule 4511, HIPAA data integrity parameters, and strict chain-of-custody documentation guidelines for corporate legal practices.

Can an INBX ledger record be used as evidence in commercial litigation?

Yes. Traditional email and Slack streams are easily altered, deleted by rogue internal actors, or modified post-transmission, making their integrity a frequent target during disputes. INBX establishes a defensible chain of custody. Every single transaction includes independent cryptographic signatures, structural timestamps, and immutable identity markers, creating a legally robust record for e-discovery scoping.

🔒 Infrastructure & Security Integration

Where is our organization's communication data actually stored?

With our native Bring-Your-Own-Bucket (BYOB) model, 100% of your records and binaries reside inside your own cloud infrastructure (such as a private, compliance-locked AWS S3 or Cloudflare R2 container). Your sensitive communication data never transits or rests within an INBX vendor silo, ensuring absolute data sovereignty.

How do external vendors, clients, or legal counsel access a sealed record?

Authorized workspace managers can issue an authenticated guest pass to external parties via the application gateway. To maintain absolute cryptographic perimeter security, the external guest must successfully pass a native Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace SSO handshake matching their official corporate email domain. No temporary passwords or unverified credentials are ever permitted.

Does implementing INBX require changing our existing enterprise user directories?

No. INBX acts as a zero-friction gateway layer. It integrates directly with your existing enterprise identity providers via standard OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML 2.0 pathways. Your team uses their native corporate identity credentials, bypassing the support burden of tracking separate passwords while instantly enforcing global corporate multi-factor authentication (MFA) rules.

How do we get architecture or onboarding support?
